OUR STORY

 

Vera Linens was founded in 1960 when the Mannini Family opened their first workshop in Quarrata, Italy, between Pistoia and Florence.

Quarrata is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Pistoia in the Italian region of Tuscany, located about 30 kilometres (19 mi) west of Florence and about 10 kilometres (6 mi) south of Pistoia.

Nestled in the green Tuscan hills amongst fields of Wine grapes and Olive trees, Vera produced beautiful household linens using only the highest quality fabrics carefully finished by skilled hands in the Tuscan tradition.

Later in 1970 the company opened its first store in Naples, then a second store in 1973 in Caserta and a third in Prato in 1976.

Today, thanks to its ethical business practices, the use of the highest quality raw materials and a beautiful finished product, Vera has developed foreign markets. Exporting their products to Russia, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the United States. Ever attentive to the needs of their customers, Vera Luxury Italian Linens manufactures its products with the utmost care and craftsmanship, 100% made in Italy.
